Presenter: Michael Kimmage, Professor of History at the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C.

Join us Wednesday, October 28, 2020, for a virtual presentation by Michael Kimmage, titled, “The Abandonment of the West: The History of an Idea in American Foreign Policy,” based on his book of the same name.

The presentation will take place live on Zoom at 6:00 p.m. EST on 9/30/20, followed by a Q&A with the speaker. The presentation recording will also be shared with members via email following the presentation.

About Michael Kimmage:

Michael Kimmage is a professor of history at the Catholic University of America, specializing in the history of the United States, Europe, and Russia. A member of the secretary’s policy planning staff at the US Department of State from 2014 to 2016 and the author of two books, he lives with his wife and two daughters in Washington, DC.
