Professor John Lewis Gaddis, Yale University, will speak on the subject of his new book “On Grand Strategy,” on June 4, 2018 at Connecticut College, New London (book-signing to follow).
John Lewis Gaddis is the Robert A. Lovett Professor of Military and Naval History at Yale University. He is best known for his work on the Cold War and grand strategy, and has been hailed as the “Dean of Cold War Historians” by The New York Times. Gaddis is the recipient of a 2005 National Humanities Medal. He is also the winner of the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for biography for his book George F. Kennan: An American Life.
