Robert Morgus will present, ‘Five Key Trends in the Battle for the Global Internet (and why it matters)’ on October 24, 2018 at Old Lyme Country Club.

Robert is a Sr. Policy Analyst and Deputy Director with New America, a non-partisan think tank in Washington, where he leads the institution’s work on international cybersecurity policy. His research has been published and recognized by the New York TimesSlate, the Council on Foreign Relations, peer-reviewed academic journals, and numerous other national and international media outlets. He currently serves as a member of the Research Advisory Network for the Global Commission on Internet Governance, the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise, and the Global Commission on the Stability of Cyber Space, and has served as an expert advisor for the World Economic Forum. He received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Diplomacy and World Affairs with honors from Occidental College, has a background in international security, and is conversant in three languages.

Dinner with Robert, guests, and fellow members is optional for $35 following the presentation at the Country Club. Reservations must be made in advance.
